Trees From Heaven considers California’s dismembered landscape, a collective terrain of memory complexly fabricated. This project was chiefly concerned with the history and legacy of railroads and highways during Manifest Destiny's westward expansion. These colleges center on Foothill Boulevard, which is Historic Route 66, to its link the present to what is visually, figuratively, and historically archived into landscape by the transportation companies that crafted this area in the late Nineteenth century.
