What Does an Inch or So Matter is the product of a collaborative effort between three interdisciplinary artists and writers during the Open Residency at Cow House Studio. One artist redacted and reinterpreted the text from “With the Church” by Father Mathias Goossens, a book found at the local charity shop in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Another artist and I made the photographs around the farm using film canister pinhole cameras, and 35mm film cameras during the yearly national ploughing championship. We further processed several photographs as anthotypes using homemade dyes from the surrounding property.
